About Supplementary School
The program is an after-school education program that provides supplementary support to underprivileged students. Many students from financially weak backgrounds
are first generation learners in their households and lack the household support and environment needed for furthering their education. Proper guidance and support
is critical for sound foundation.
The program elements include academic tutoring, foundational courses, parental counselling, guidance and exposure visits. Students from government schools in grades
8th to 10th are part of the program. Academic tutoring is provided in Mathematics, Science and English. Regular assessments are conducted on a weekly basis.
Transportation support is also provided to students from remote areas. Foundational courses after 10th class are conducted to prepare students for further studies. Monthly parent-teacher meetings are conducted to counsel parents as most of them haven't gone through the schooling system. Visits to various institutes (Z.P , Police Station, Collector office, etc) and to local industries are organized to provide exposure to students.

The results of the program have been phenomenal. Over 1000 students have benefitted from the program over the last two years. A large proportion have progressed to the next class with high marks and achieved distinction in 10th grade board examinations.
